Conservation by Re-use
Helping churches acquire surplus and/or redundant bells to be hung for
English-style full-circle bell-ringing.
St Saviour, Larkhall, Bath
The heavy ring of eight bells was re-modelled into a lighter ring in the early 1990’s. Four surplus bells were relocated and one of these is the treble of five at Bicknoller.
Nineteen years later, during October 2013 a bell ex-High Wycombe was installed as the treble of six.
In the intervening 19 years we have helped to relocate over 600 more bells and most of these are in churches and hung for full circle ringing.
St George, Bicknoller, Somerset
The treble bell of this ring of five was the former second of the pre-1993 ring at St Saviour, Larkhall, Bath.
This the first bell we re-located and it was installed at Bicknoller in 1994.
