Conservation by Re-use
Helping churches acquire surplus and/or redundant bells to be hung for
English-style full-circle bell-ringing.
The heavy ring of four have been restored and augmented to six by adding bells formerly hung at Mawnan, Cornwall; Mithian, Cornwall and Corby Glen, Lincolnshire. The original four bells were unusual in that the treble and second have strike notes only 28 cents apart instead of 100 cents. The treble of four is has been retired and three treble bells added.
The work to restore the bells was completed in May 2016.
