Three bells ex-Prittlewell, Essex have been installed as clock chime bells at the Maritime Museum. Repair work to the tower is currently underway (December 2012) and when completed the chiming hammers will be installed and the historic clock restarted.
Plans are well advanced for the installation of a chime of at least eight bells and the Trust is actively locating suitable bells for the Maritime Museum. Four bells are coming from Blackburn, St Jude and two more are ex-Trinity House buoy bells.
